Flowers Flowers Flowers

There has been some planting and pretty flowers around here lately. I don't think there will be again any time soon though (at least from the garden). Mike has been having a really hard time with his allergies. I guess I will have to stick to store bought flowers from now on! Here's what I have been up to....

Mike's mom picked some beautiful peonies from her garden and gave me some, so I spread them out over the house. I put some in the bathroom
Some in the living room
(that is an old glass light cover I picked up at the thrift store)
And of course some in the kitchen.
I also picked some chicks and hens from outside and planted them in little silver cups.
Then I found a bulb kit from the winter for paper whites ( in my very messy room)
I planted them...I hope it works!
I planted one in a teacup and the others in a pot.
I will have to show you the outside of the house sometime soon as well, there are lots of pretty flowers in the gardens!!

Where the Moss tree Lives....

Hello! I guess I was a bad blogging friend and never showed you where I ended up putting my moss tree! Well, my Aunt and Uncle are moving and are getting rid of lots of stuff! And I am very lucky that they have offered me some! Their house is full of lovely antiques, I would take everything if I could! :) Anyway, here is the wall in the kitchen before...
 and this is it after...
grogeous right?! I am in love! I am not only excited because it is pretty..hahah...but also because of the extra storage! (Although I can't really complain about that...I have a lot of storage(pantry) and cupboard space here) But it is nice that all the items are together in the kitchen!
See the moss tree on top?
I love having all my glassware together as well. Winegalsses, teapot, my nice cream and sugar set..etc etc!

Thanks so much Uncle Rob and Aunt Liana!!

Moss Moss Moss!

Hey guys...
Did I ever show you this?
I picked it up at winners for $4 I think....after Christmas...I wasn't sure what I was going to  do with it...then one day MOSS came to mind...
 I stripped it down...
 And made a mess...
and went to town with some moss and my glue gun...
And now have this lovely tree...
It looks so much better!
