Hi, my name is Ashley.
As you can tell by the name of the blog I am THRIFTY! I like to thrift and bargain shop, re-purpose old things and make them new again. It all started almost 5 years ago when my then "boyfriend" and I moved in together into a rented old farm house. We didn't have a lot of money (or furniture) to fill and decorate the house so I had to get creative! Thrifting became my new hobby and soon the house felt like home. Fast forward to 2012 and we still don't have a lot of money to spend. We are now married and saving for our first house.
Mike and I aren't the only ones living on the farm. We also have a dog named Sadie and two kitties: Harrison and Nelson. They have all been rescued! It's a little crazy around here sometimes! I'm sure you will see their pictures on the blog the odd time, they love the camera!!We are also expecting our first child in November! We are so excited to expand our family! I'm sure you will see some baby projects on here too!!
